Knitting in Passing

I shared two quick stores from knitting in Nashville.

In My Travels

I'll share some more details of our Knoxville, Bristol, Nashville trip next time, but I did love meeting Amanda and shopping at Haus of Yarn in Nashville. Thanks Meg for the recommendations for other things to see in Nashville. I purchased yarn from Teeny Button Studio- 2 skeins of BFL fingering + mini skein (partly because their sample for Andrea Mowry's Thaliah shawl was beautiful). I also got a beautiful project bag.

In 2018, we are turning those sacred skeins into beautiful projects you can enjoy-- and maybe win a new beautiful skein of yarn from one of our sponsors along the way! Ask Me Anything

This time I answered a question from shateenamanda about resources for designers. I mentioned this book (which I haven't read yet). Beginner's Guide to Writing Knitting Patterns by Kate Atherly. I also highly recommend paying a tech editor

Quote of the Week

If you must look back, do so forgivingly. If you must look forward, do so prayerfully. However, the wisest thing you can do is be present in the present... gratefully.
